Definition: POV camera


(Point Of View camera) A digital camera designed to capture the scene in front of a person. Also called "action cams," POV cameras are small and typically attach to a hat, helmet or goggles. Widely used to stream live video from some venue, they are also used to record step-by-step instructions for performing a task. See live streaming and lifecasting.
