3D Vision

A stereoscopic 3D gaming system for Windows PCs from NVIDIA. The PC must use an NVIDIA graphics card and connect to a true 120 Hz monitor, which accepts input at 120 frames per second. Introduced in 2009, 3D Vision has been praised by gamers for its realism. The 3D Vision Kit includes driver software, an infrared transmitter and liquid crystal (LC) shutter glasses to render 3D games written to the Windows Direct3D programming interface (API). See LC shutter glasses, true 120 Hz, active 3D and 3D visualization.
