A CDE Definition
A version of the 386 from Intel that ran at slower speeds than the 386DX, addressed only 16MB of memory (not 4GB) and supported only a 16-bit data bus (not 32). It used less power and dispelled less heat than the 386DX. See 386SL and x86.
