A CDE Definition
A slower version of the 486 without the math coprocessor. 486SXs could be upgraded to 486DX2s with Intel's OverDrive chip, which included the coprocessor. The DX2 chip was plugged into the empty coprocessor socket, disabling the original CPU. See 486.
