BaanERP

An ERP system originally from the Baan Company that runs on Unix, Windows and the AS/400 and lives on as Infor Baan ERP from Infor Global Solutions, Alpharetta, GA (www.infor.com). It includes modules for manufacturing, financial, project estimating and management and distribution. Other Baan products were absorbed into SSA Global's value chain modules when acquired in 2003, but BaanERP retained its long-time name recognition. In late 2006, SSA was purchased by Infor, an ERP software company. See manufacturing software.
