An earlier object-oriented client/server development system from Neuron Data, Mountain View, CA, that was used to develop applications for the major GUIs, including Windows, OS/2, Motif and Mac. It supported more than 40 platforms and provided links to its rule-based NEXPERT expert system. NEXPERT later became Brokat Expert as Neuron was acquired by Blaze Software, which was acquired by Brokat Technologies. In 2002, Brokat was purchased and absorbed by German company DataDesign AG.
