Definition: CA-Visual Objects


An object-oriented client/server development system formerly from CA Technologies that is used to develop Windows applications. It provides visual programming tools and a programming language that evolved from Clipper. Visual Objects supports ODBC and SQL databases and includes a compiler for generating Windows EXEs and DLLs. In 2002, CA turned the product over to private software distributor GrafX Software Development Tools, Inc. for support and future development.
