Definition: CDMA phone

A cellphone or smartphone that uses the CDMA air interface. In the U.S., Verizon and Sprint (now T-Mobile) have been CDMA carriers; however, CDMA is being phased out for 4G and 5G. Contrast with GSM phone. See CDMA.
