(Certified Information Security Manager) The award for successfully completing an examination in information security management from ISACA (formerly the Information Security Audit and Control Association). See ISACA.
(ISACA, Rolling Meadows, IL, www.isaca.org) A membership association dedicated to information systems auditing and security and certification (see CISA and CISM). ISACA was founded as the EDP Auditors Association in 1969; subsequently the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and finally just its acronym.
