Finally Light Bulb

See Acandescent bulb.

Acandescent bulb

An induction-powered light bulb technology from Finally Light Bulb Company, Boston, MA, The "Finally Light Bulb" looks like an incandescent bulb but uses 75% less energy. It also has the long life span of an LED bulb. Although induction lighting was developed decades ago and has been used in commercial venues, Finally Light Bulb brought this to the consumer in 2016.

How Acandescent Bulbs Work
When the bulb is turned on, current is applied to an electromagnet. The magnetic field causes a tiny amount of solid mercury to emit ultraviolet light, and the light causes the phosphorescent coating on the inside surface of the bulb to glow. See incandescent bulb and LED bulb.

Just Like Ordinary Bulbs
Acandescent bulbs look just like the incandescent variety but last much longer. This 100 watt replacement uses a quarter of the energy.
