ICANN

(Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, www.icann.org) A non-profit, international association incorporated in the U.S. in 1998. ICANN coordinates all the Internet's naming, addressing and protocol systems, and it accredits domain name registrars. IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority)
