QIC-EX

(Quarter Inch Cartridge-EXtra) A QIC magnetic tape cartridge from Verbatim that used longer tape and extended the cartridge depth to accommodate it. QIC-EX cartridges were available in .25" tape formats for earlier DC-2000 drives as well as in .315" tape for Travan drives. See QIC, QIC-Wide and Travan.




QIC-EXtra Cartridge
Verbatim's QIC-EX cartridge, which is physically extended to hold more tape, could be read and written by many QIC and Travan drives.
