A CDE Definition
(Telephony API) A programming interface from Microsoft and Intel that allows Windows client applications to access voice services on a server. TAPI was designed to provide interoperability between PCs and telephone equipment, including phone systems and PBXs. See JTAPI.
(Java Telephony API) A telephony programming interface for Java. Its classes and interfaces provide access to call and device control as well as media and administrative services. See TAPI.
