Definition: Thunderbird

(2) A full-featured email client that comes with Linux and is available for Windows and Mac. Thunderbird provides many features including a Saved Search that stores messages in virtual folders like Gmail labels. Thunderbird supports "extensions" (plug-ins) that enhance the program similar to Firefox, its browser counterpart. See Firefox and Penelope.
