UltraPixel

A camera sensor introduced with the HTC One smartphone in 2013. Instead of the normal pixel size of 1.0 to 1.4 micrometers, the 2.0-micrometer UltraPixels allow more light to reach the sensor. The 4-megapixel UltraPixel sensor has twice the surface area of 8-megapixel cameras using a 1.4 micrometer pixel size. See HTC One.

HTC One

A family of mostly Android smartphones from HTC. Introduced in 2012, the original HTC One X and subsequent One models have been widely praised for their metal housings, excellent sound and many other functions. Featuring the HTC Sense user interface, more than a dozen models of HTC One phones have debuted, including a 3.7" entry-level One V and an ultra-large 5.9" One Max phablet. Several models included HTC's low-light UltraPixel camera (see UltraPixel). See HTC, HTC G1 and HTC EVO.
