An x86-based computer that runs some version of Windows. In the Windows 8 time frame, Windows RT tablets used ARM chips rather than Intel x86. Although RT was subsequently dropped, Microsoft once again made Windows run on ARM CPUs (see Windows 10 ARM). See x86 and Windows.
