Definition: curved screen
A display screen that is slightly curved horizontally. Introduced in the 2013 time frame, curved-screen TVs were touted to be more immersive for the viewer. However, they did not catch on because they caused a certain amount of glare from lights if viewers were not sitting dead center. In addition, curved TVs do not hang flat against the wall, which present a decorating issue.
