trusted domain relationship
A trust association between two domains. See trust relationship.
A logical connection that is established between directory domains so that the rights and privileges of users and devices in one domain is shared with the other. For example, it allows users to log in once and have access to all associated resources without having to be authenticated again. See forests and trees and transitive trust.
