A CDE Definition
A feature of an email program that allows the user to discard a message after clicking the Send button so that it never reaches the user. In 2015, Google added this capability, allowing users up to 30 seconds to change their minds. Contrast with Outlook recall. See ohnosecond.
(OH NO! SECOND) The fraction of a second it takes to realize you just made a big mistake on the computer. For example, clicking "No" when prompted to save the document you spent all day composing. Or, accidentally clicking "Send" on the email you typed to vent your frustration. See undo send.
